A photo is tacked up to a wall in their garage, a smiling boy and a smiling girl on their first official "date" to the school dance.
The boy is in seventh grade, the girl in sixth. He has his arm around her; she holds flowers. Thirty-three years later, they get off an airplane with their three boys, smiling the same smiles for photographers waiting there to capture their arrival for the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl.
They look as happy as they did when they posed for that picture, no surprise to anyone who knows the Swinneys.
