Nobody gave Georgia Tech much of a chance against Virginia Tech last week, especially with quarterback Justin Thomas out, along with three key offensive starters.
But coach Paul Johnson is good for at least one surprise a season. The Jackets rallied together and pulled out a win on the road to clinch bowl eligibility, getting some normalcy back to a program that missed a bowl in 2015 for the first time in 18 years.
