Florida State spent Tuesday preparing for the noise at No. 1 Clemson by turning the volume up at practice, and the Seminoles are hoping it makes a difference for a team that might rely on a lot of inexperienced players Saturday because of departures and injuries.
“You can never emulate the game, because you have pressure and all that stuff,” Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher said. “But you get noise and the communication process is really what you’re trying to lock in.”
A slew of injuries, unlike anything Fisher he has ever seen before, Fisher said, means Florida State’s younger players will play prominent roles against the Tigers.
