UNC's defense has locked down the first two starting linebackers but the third is still to be determined.
North Carolina fans have seen that head coach Larry Fedora does not mind waiting until the last moment to announce a starter.
Now with a new defense, and for some players a new position, we'll have to wait and see who the trio of starting linebackers in this 4-3 scheme will be. The first two spots have already been locked down by seniors Jeff Schoettmer and Shakeel Rashad.
Junior Joe Jackson and sophomore Cayson Collins are the two vying for that third starting spot.
