With Duke opening spring ball Saturday, head coach David Cutcliffe is wasting little time moving forward at the quarterback position after starter Thomas Sirk went down last month with an Achilles injury. The coach’s approach is simple: Projecting anything about his fall roster beyond spring ball is a fool’s errand.
Thus, the Blue Devils’ offense is in the hands of Parker Boehme for the foreseeable future.
“Parker is our starter at this time,” Cutcliffe said Thursday during a teleconference. “We have no real way of knowing what Thomas’ timetable will be. He’s doing well.
