Dino Babers was announced as Syracuse’s new head coach this week. After back-to-back three-win seasons for the Orange, Babers has his work cut out for him, but he’s bringing a fresh approach — an up-tempo offense and an optimistic outlook — to Syracuse with an eye on writing a new future while embracing the school’s history. We talked with Babers about his plans to get started.
Q: It’s been a wild week for you, winning a MAC title at Bowling Green and then coming on board at Syracuse. What’s it been like?
A: Really, I’ve just kind wanted to sit back and first of all, take the championship in.
