One of the country's most prized basketball recruits, 5-star power forward Dewan Huell, is heading to Miami to play for head coach Jim Larranaga and the Hurricanes.
Lawton Williams, Huell's coach, told Evan Daniels of Scout.com of his player's decision.
“It’s close to home,” Williams said. “He had a good feel for them. He thought the coaches would help him in his goal to become a NBA player.”
The 6'10", 206-pound product of Miami's Norland High School is the No. 5 player at his position in the Class of 2016 and the 24th-best prospect in the country, per 247Sports' composite rankings.
