A few weeks ago, Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson got a letter from the Heisman Trust telling him he was a player on their radar. Winning the Heisman would fulfill a childhood dream, but Watson gathered his teammates together and had a simple message:
"He was like, 'You know what, guys, this is a team thing. All of us are doing this together,'" offensive lineman Eric Mac Lain recalled. "So I think his true character has really emerged from this process. He could have gotten big-headed and it's all about him. He stayed true to the team, and it's pretty unique for a young guy.
