Among the returning head coaches in the ACC, nobody has dealt with as much assistant turnover as Boston College coach Steve Addazio.
Three of the four assistants from the staff of the No. 1 defense in the country in 2015 are gone. So is recently demoted offensive coordinator Todd Fitch, off to Louisiana Tech.
Perhaps the changes are not all that surprising, considering the circumstances. BC had immense success on defense the last several seasons, so it is natural for those coaches to draw interest from around the country.
