PHOENIX, Ariz. -- Clemson athletic director Dan Radakovich, one of 12 members of the College Football Playoff selection committee, can finally wear his Clemson orange gear and mention his team and the playoff in the same sentence.
For the final six weeks of the season, Radakovich had to recuse himself from the selection committee’s meetings for all conversations about the No. 1-ranked Tigers, but on Saturday morning, at the championship game’s media day for Clemson, Radakovich wore a bright orange sweatshirt with Clemson across the front and Clemson-orange shoes.
"That committee hat is off right now," Radakovich said.
