Waiting for an opponent in the second round of the 2016 NBA Playoffs, the Cavaliers took some time to toss the pigskin following practice on Thursday.
INDEPENDENCE, OHIO— With over a week between the end of their first-round series and the beginning of their second-round series, the Cavaliers are using other sports to occupy the time until they can play playoff basketball again.

While Cavs coach Ty Lue watched his team pass the pigskin on the day in which the 2016 NFL Draft begins, he said the extracurriculars weren’t part of the team’s plan to keep fresh for the next series.
