Cavs fall to Warriors, down 3-1 in NBA Finals

The Cavaliers fizzled late on Friday night and fell 106-97 to the Warriors, which took a 3-1 series lead.

CLEVELAND, OHIO-- The Cavaliers had a chance to give themselves a second chance in this series.

Instead, Cleveland fell further behind on Friday night, as Golden State's dominant second-half effort allowed them to take a 3-1 lead in the 2016 NBA Finals.

After the Cavaliers took a five-point lead at the half, Golden State outscored Cleveland 48-34 in the second half, thanks to the efforts of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

The duo combined to scored 63 points on 18-of-39 shooting from the field.
