When the dust settles following this year’s NFL draft, there’s a reasonable chance three ACC cornerbacks will have been selected in the first round. While that’s a tribute to the talent in the league, it’s also a reminder that a lot of that talent is walking out the door.
So, with Mackensie Alexander, Jalen Ramsey and Kendall Fuller gone, who takes the crown as the ACC’s top cornerback for 2016?
This is a subject we tackled a bit after the regular season, when we looked at All-ACC candidates. While Ramsey and Alexander made our short list back then — and Fuller certainly would have if he’d been healthy — we also had a few candidates who will be returning for 2016.
