Virginia stepped up first and offered sophomore Realus George.
After Virginia offered the 6-foot-1, 238 pound athlete who could be targeted as a linebacker or a running back was offered by Boston College. He grew up carrying the pigskin and running through tackles, but Scout likes him as an inside linebacker on the next level. He still has three years, so we will continue to evaluate George.
Running backs coach Al Washington for Boston College is actively recruiting George and the two are forming a strong bond.
