WRAL-TV's Ken Medlin provided the update and added the forward returned to the bench. Bob Sutton of the Times-News noted Jefferson's shoe was removed as the team's training staff attended to him on the sideline.
Jefferson has never been a stat-sheet stuffer, but his ability to set the tone for Duke with stout play up front can't be overlooked—particularly on the defensive end.
