Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson's Heisman case is starting to come into focus, and while he’s not yet the favorite, his performance against NC State on Saturday -- six touchdowns, 383 yards passing, 54 yards rushing -- certainly made a statement. In fact, in the last decade, the only other player to post a 350/50/6 line in an ACC game was Watson’s predecessor, Tajh Boyd, who also did it against NC State in 2012.
So far this season, Watson is completing 70 percent of his throws, has 20 passing touchdowns, has thrown for 1,936 yards and run for 386 more.
