Tyler Boyd threw a 38-yard pass, ran for 34 yards, caught 12 passes for 93 yards and had 75 yards on kick returns in Pitt's win over Syracuse on Saturday. In the last decade, five other players had a game in which they had at least 20 yards receiving, rushing, passing and on returns. It’s an impressive group: Cordarrelle Patterson, Sammy Watkins, Randall Cobb (twice), Derrick Williams and Darren McFadden.
The more impressive thing for Boyd? He’s now done it two weeks in a row.
But Boyd wasn’t the only multipurpose star for Pitt.
