ACC still waiting on first 1,000-yard receiver in 2015

The ACC finished the regular season without a 1,000-yard receiver, after producing 20 of them since 2010.

There are two players in position to hit the coveted mark in the postseason, though. Virginia Tech’s Isaiah Ford needs 63 yards against Tulsa in the Camping World Independence Bowl to hit 1,000. Pitt’s Tyler Boyd needs 127 against Navy in the Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman.

If neither makes it, the ACC would have zero 1,000-yard receivers for the first time since 2005. As it stands, the ACC is the only FBS conference without a 1,000-yard receiver.
