Interview with Scott

Favorite sport to play?

I feel disgusted to say it but my favorite sport to play nowadays is golf and Football.

Favorite sport to watch?

NFL Football is my favorite to watch.

What is your biggest athletic achievement?

I once beat an MSU Women's Basketball player in a game of horse. That actually explains why golf is now my favorite sport to play.

What's your biggest pet peeve in sports?

I hate it when football players don't use their brains and play based on the situation. When it's 4th down, KNOCK THE BALL DOWN! I hate when DBs go for the pick when they would gain 30 yards by simply knocking the ball down.

Are you a BCS lover or hater?

Hater! I want a +1 playoff with #1 playing #4 and #2 playing #3 on the other side. There is too much time off between the end of the regular season and bowl season. It would be simple to fit in another game and make an even bigger spectacle of it.

If you could change one thing in college sports what would it be?

I would get rid of the One and Done rule in college basketball. Make it like baseball. You can get drafted out of high school but if you then chose to go to college you have to play three years. Forcing kids to go to school for one year is ridiculous. Let them go make some (more) money in the NBA.

What's your favorite sports moment you've experienced?

When Durrell Summers dunked on UConn's Stanley Robinson in the 2009 Final Four at Ford Field. I'm always good about the "no cheering in the press box" rule for media, but if you look closely at a long shot of the dunk you can see me jumping out of my seat with my arms raised.
