Marcus Rush provides Chiefs with intriguing pass rush prospect

The Kansas City Chiefs continue to rotate their choice of outside linebackers on the roster with the signing of former Michigan State product Marcus Rush, per an NFL transaction announcement.

Rush replaces former San Diego Chargers linebacker Tourek Williams, who was both signed and release in approximately one week’s time. The Chiefs released Victor Ochi earlier in May to make room for Williams, so the revolving door keeps spinning. Whether Rush will stick for any length of time, let alone make a real impact, is anyone’s guess.

Rush entered the NFL in 2015 as an undrafted free agent and remained with the team for the bulk of two seasons on the practice squad.
