Chiefs to Celebrate Breast Cancer Survivors and Bring Awareness for Those Fighting

Annually, the Chiefs join with the National Football League and the NFL Players Association to support October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In collaboration with the American Cancer Society, the initiative, “A Crucial Catch: Annual Screening Saves Lives,” reminds women 40 and older about the importance of having an annual mammogram.

The NFL, its clubs and the American Cancer Society are committed to saving lives from breast cancer and addressing the unequal burden of cancer in underserved communities. On Sunday, Oct. 23, the Chiefs annual Breast Cancer Awareness game will honor survivors and those affected by the disease.
