Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that the Chiefs have released LB Tourek Williams on Friday.
Williams, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Chargers back in 2013. Williams played out his rookie contract with the Chargers before testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
The Chiefs just recently signed him to a contract.
In 2016, Williams appeared in all 16 games for the Chargers and recorded 14 tackles, one sack and a pass defense.
