Fantasy Football TE Rankings: Week 3

Tight end is normally a top-heavy position, but there is some depth this year. If you're unsure of who to start this week, check out my rankings. Spoiler alert: you should probably play Jimmy Graham.

Byes: None

Updated: Sept. 18

Other Rankings: QB, RB, WR, TE, DEF

Rank & Player Opponent Notes
1. Jimmy Graham, NO MIN He'll be the top TE the majority of the season.
2. Julius Thomas, DEN @SEA Thomas is always a high-end start, even against Seattle.
3. Rob Gronkowski, NE OAK If Gronk is healthy, Gronk is starting for you.
4. Greg Olsen, CAR PIT Olsen is one of the few reliable targets in Carolina.
5. Zach Ertz, PHI WSH He's looked great so far. This could be his breakout season.
6. Antonio Gates, SD @BUF I thought Gates was in for a poor year. So far, he's made me look like a fool.
7. Kyle Rudolph, MIN @NO Rudolph is tied for the team lead in targets. Just keep being patient. The TDs will come soon.
8. Dennis Pitta, BAL @CLE Pitta sees plenty of targets as Flacco's safety blanket.
9. Martellus Bennett, CHI @NYJ His value comes mostly from touchdowns, which are tough to rely on. Still, he's performed well so far.
10. Jason Witten, DAL @STL He's had a slow start, but don't bail on him just yet.
11. Vernon Davis, SF @ARI Davis' spot will be determined by how healthy he is. If you own him, be cautious.
12. Jordan Cameron, CLE BAL I'm not sure if Cameron will play this week. Make sure you have a plan B.
13. Delanie Walker, TEN @CIN Walker had a huge game last week, but don't expect a repeat.
14. Charles Clay, MIA @BUF Clay gets a lot of targets, but hasn't put up the yardage yet.
15. Travis Kelce, KC @DEN Another player who could be primed for a breakout season. I don't trust him as a starter yet though.
