DURHAM – Team Hoyle tied the series at one game each with a 10-7 win over Team Crabtree on Saturday at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
Team Hoyle flexed its resiliency after Team Crabtree scored seven runs in the top of the fourth inning to take a 7-6 lead. Team Hoyle responded, scoring four in the bottom frame to take the final lead, 10-7.
Senior Damon Lux led Team Hoyle, going 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBIs. Freshman Alex Mooney led Team Crabtree with a 2-for-3 performance with a walk and an RBI.
