DURHAM, N.C. – Duke field hockey is excited to announce its second addition to the 2020 recruiting class as Alayna Burns is set to join the Blue Devils for the 2020-2021 school year.
Burns, a midfielder and forward, is from Medford, N.J and attends Shawnee High School. A four-year letterwinner, Burns was named Second Team All-Conference as a sophomore and junior before earning First Team All-Conference status as a senior. During her senior year, Burns was Second Team All-Region, Second Team All-Group IV and a member of the 2019 Burlington County Times All-County Team.
