PRINCETON, N.J. – The Duke rowing team opened its fall season with a full day at the Princeton Chase on Lake Carnegie. The Blue Devils raced a trio of varsity 8+ boats and five varsity 4+ crews.
Duke’s top varsity 8+, consisting of Simone Pitre, Isabel Ruby-Hill, Jessica Findlay, Sophie Simister, Alex Stonehill, Elizabeth Horne, Katie Dukovich, Phoebe Donovan and Katherine Maitland placed 17th overall with a time of 15:31.203.
The Blue Devils' second varsity 8+ clocked out at 15:59.
