DURHAM, N.C. – It was announced this week that redshirt junior wide receiver Damond Philyaw-Johnson was named to the Sporting News' 2020 preseason All-America team.
Philyaw-Johnson garnered second team preseason praise as a return specialist from the organization after earning Fourth Team All-America honors from Phil Steele as well as Second Team All-ACC distinction just a season ago.
Philyaw-Johnson has compiled 637 all-purpose yards (88 receiving, 549 kickoff return) throughout his career (29.0 avg/g) and sits tied with two others for third all-time on Duke's career kickoff return for TD chart.
