This is a bit outside our normal walkabout, but on Friday, a kid in Orange County named Frederick Seymour died during football practice, apparently from a severe asthma attack.
He was just 13.
The N&O has the story here and when you see his picture, he looks like a really sweet kid and so young. It’s heartbreaking.
Anyway, people posted a YouFundMe campaign to help the family pay for the funeral. They’re about halfway to their goal as of late Friday night. If you have time and the inclination, please consider contributing something to the fundraiser.
