RALEIGH, N.C. - After inclement weather delayed the start of Thursday night's game by two hours and 10 minutes, the 15th-ranked Duke Blue Devils (8-2-2, 2-1-1 ACC) and No. 21 NC State Wolfpack (8-2-2, 1-1-1 ACC) battled to a 1-1 draw at the Dail Soccer Stadium in Raleigh.
After an NC State red card gave Duke a one-man advantage in the second half, senior Kayla McCoy tallied the Blue Devils' lone goal of the night in the 77th minute, her fifth of the season and 31st of her career. She is now three scores away from cracking the top five on Duke's all-time goals list.
