DURHAM, N.C. – In his final game as The Baxter Family Associate Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator at Duke University, alum Scottie Montgomery made the most of it, leading the Blue Devils to a New Era Pinstripe Bowl record 44 points in a 44-41 overtime victory against Indiana.

After the contest, Montgomery, who will now take over as head coach at East Carolina, spoke with Blue Devil Network to look back on all his years with Duke.

Following the overtime victory, quarterback Thomas Sirk and running back Shaun Wilson were named the game’s co-MVPs. Sirk ran for a Duke bowl-record 155 yards while Wilson scored two touchdowns on an 85-yard rush and 98-yard kickoff return.
