After looking at the scandal Louisville is going through, the university found that violations did occur and it has imposed a post-season ban which applies to the NCAA and ACC tournaments.
Louisville president James Ramsey: "I determined that it was reasonable to conclude that the violations had occurred within the men's basketball program in the past. I recognize that this is a disappointment to players, students and fans."
Rick Pitino sounds devastated: "Painful is an understatement. This is a night of extreme pain.
