DURHAM – Graduate student defensive back Myles Jones was selected to the CBS Sports Midseason All-America Team, the organization announced this week.
Jones was one of three ACC players to be honored, joining Miami kick returner Brashard Smith and Louisville defensive lineman Ashton Gillotte.
Jones has recorded 131 career tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, six interceptions, 31 pass breakups, two caused fumbles, one fumble recovery and one quarterback pressure in 53 career games. Throughout his collegiate career, he has registered four-plus tackles on 14 occasions, including a career-high nine tackles against Wake Forest in 2017.
