GREENSBORO, N.C. — Duke University freshman Miela Goodchild was named to the All-ACC Academic Team Friday as announced by the league office.
Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
Goodchild registered a record-breaking rookie campaign for the Blue Devils as she drained a Duke freshman record 73 three-pointers in 30 contests, moving past Rebecca Greenwell’s ledger of 72, which took her 34 games to register.
