DURHAM, N.C. – As the Duke women's golf team gets set to head to Atlanta, Ga., for the East Lake Cup Oct. 28-30, the Golf Channel has revealed it will dedicate more than 30 hours of news and tournament coverage for the event next week.
For the third time out of the last five years, the Blue Devils will compete at historic East Lake Golf Club, which includes only eight teams – Duke, Wake Forest, Auburn and Arizona from the women's side along with Vanderbilt, Texas, Oklahoma State and Wake Forest for the men.
The field will feature several of the world's top-ranked amateurs, including Texas' Cole Hammer (2) and Pierceson Coody (10), Vanderbilt's John Augenstein (5), Oklahoma State's Austin Eckroat (21) and Wake Forest's Eugenio Chacarra (15) and Alex Fitzpatrick (28).
