DURHAM -- Last month, the Duke Men’s and Women’s golf teams volunteered their time at the 3rd annual Els for Autism Golf Challenge event at the Duke University Golf Club.
The women’s team was represented by Dan Brooks, the 6-time national champion head coach of the program, along with Virginia Elena Carta, the 2016 NCAA individual national champion, and Sandy Choi, recent semifinalist at the 115th North & South Amateur Championship.
The trio put on a hitting clinic for the tournament participants prior to the start of the event while answering questions, giving advice on preparation and enjoying a few laughs with the gathered crowd.
