Duke Lands Three on NFHCA All-America Teams

DURHAM – The honors continue to roll in for the Duke field hockey team as three Blue Devils garnered All-America honors as announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Tuesday morning. Sophomore Alaina McVeigh and graduate student Hannah Miller headline the trio with first-team honors, while senior Piper Hampsch earns third-team recognition.

Duke's three selections to the NFHCA All-America teams are tied for the second most of any program. Northwestern led the way with five honorees. It marks the fifth time in school history Duke has landed multiple Blue Devils on the first team and the first time since 2009.
