AWENDAW, S.C. – The No. 20 Duke men’s golf team shot 293 (+5) on Tuesday in the final round of the Hootie at Bull’s Bay Intercollegiate, finishing seventh in the 15-team field with a total of 870 (+6).
“There are so many different degrees of wind and ways for Bull’s Bay to play, that you have to have a good handle on what you want to do,” Duke head coach Jamie Green said. “We were a little bit lacking in that this week, but we were proud of the effort. We knocked on the door several times and couldn’t shut it with putts.
