Duke basketball is off to a promising start under new head coach Kara Lawson.
Under new head coach Kara Lawson, the Duke basketball program (2-0) is off to a promising start as ACC competition looms.
Lawson picked up her first victory as a head coach with a 94-64 victory over Longwood on Wednesday afternoon before landing her second win on Sunday with an 83-56 advantage over Western Carolina.
Duke will now have a week off before facing East Carolina on Saturday and then the start of conference play on Wednesday against Louisville.
