DURHAM, N.C. – Duke head football coach David Cutcliffe announced Saturday the naming of Jela Duncan, DeVon Edwards, Thomas Sirk and A.J. Wolf as team captains for the 2016 season. The four redshirt seniors were elected by their teammates.
Duncan, a 5-10, 215-pound running back from Charlotte, N.C., has seen action in 36 career games and rushed 289 times for 1,575 yards and 11 touchdowns while catching 43 passes for 301 yards and one score. In addition, he is one of five active players in the ACC with 1,500-plus rushing yards and 300-plus receiving yards.
