DURHAM, N.C. – A record night from Deja Davis and a standout showing in the circle from fueled a dominating 8-0 run-rule victory for the Duke Blue Devils (5-5) against the North Carolina Central Eagles (1-6) Tuesday night at the Duke Softball Stadium.
Davis turned in the second 4-for-4 showing in program history while scoring two runs, driving in another and tallying a double. She also continued her excellence on the base paths, going 3-for-3 in stolen bases for the second-straight contest to improve to 10-for-10 on the season.
