DURHAM – Senior Claire Davidson was named D1Softball's Player of the Week, after leading No. 3 Duke to a three-game sweep over No. 19 Clemson and the program's third consecutive ACC series sweep.
Davidson was the spark that ignited the offense in Friday's 13-9 win over the Tigers. She went 1-for-3 at the plate with four RBI and two runs. On Saturday, she drove in three of Duke's four runs with a three-run shot over the center field wall. The long ball also pushed her past the 100-career RBI milestone.
