Blue Devil Golfers Move to Tied First After 36 Holes

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Led by a two-under-par performance from senior Sandy Choi, the Duke women’s golf team moved into a tie for first on day two of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate in Hilton Head, S.C.

Choi, the senior from Seoul, South Korea, carded five birdies on her way to a season-best round of 69. Today’s performance moves Choi into fifth place, individually, with an even-par, 142. She only trails Kristen Gillman of Alabama (139), Cheyenne Knight of Alabama (140), Linnea Strom of Arizona State (140), and Sophia Zeeb of Arizona State (141).

As a team, Duke carded the top performance of the second round at three-over-par, 287.
