As the calendar turns its pages, the Duke Football Team Preview is at its final installment ahead of fall camp starting on Wednesday. In this post we focus on the special teams, the often overlooked but still very important aspect of any team.
The first thing people think of when they hear the words special teams is the kicker and Duke returns an excellent one in senior Ross Martin. Martin started all 13 games last season where he became Duke’s all-time leading scorer with a current 310 points which equates to 52 field goals and 154 extra points.
