Jones Participates in Twins' Home Opener Ceremonies

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- A week after helping guide the Blue Devils to their fifth national championship, Tyus Jones provided an assist in another sport, baseball. The Apple Valley, Minn., native returned to his home state to participate in first-pitch fesitivies prior to the Twins' home opener Monday afternoon.

The NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player delivered the ball used in the first pitch to Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Garnett, who threw out the opening pitch. Jones has been welcomed back to Target Field to throw his own first pitch later this summer.
