Mike Pelfrey makes his third start for the White Sox tonight, facing the Royals Nathan Karns, weather permitting.
Pelfrey is 0-1 with a 5.00 ERA in his first two starts, and has yet to get out of the fifth inning.
The Sox are in first-place in the American League Central and have won seven of their last nine. Cody Acsche will DH for the Sox, and Yolmer Sanchez gets another start at second.
