White Sox pitcher Michael Kopech needs Tommy John surgery and is expected to miss all of the 2019 season, the team announced Friday.
Kopech reported feeling tight before his start against the Tigers Wednesday. He went to doctor today and a UCL tear was found.
White Sox will confirm diagnosis with a second opinion but expect him to have surgery and miss all of 2019.
