Report: White Sox broadcaster Hawk Harrelson to cut workload in 2016

White Sox play-by-play broadcaster will cut his workload to 81 games in 2016. 670 The Score's Bruce Levine first reported the news.

Harrelson will reportedly call 78 road games, the White Sox home opener and the two home games they play against the Cubs.

Harrelson began broadcasting White Sox games in 1982. He left briefly to become the team's general manager in 1986. He returned to become the play-by-play announcer in 1990. The White Sox will hire a new broadcaster to work alongside Steve Stone, who has paired with Harrelson on White Sox broadcasts for eight seasons.
