Oldest living former MLB player Eddie Carnett turns 100

The oldest living former major leaguer, Eddie Carnett, turned 100 years old Friday.

Carnett played in the majors during World War II for the Boston Braves, Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Indians from 1941 to 1945.

Carnett was nicknamed "Lefty" in his playing days and primarily played left field after beginning his career as a pitcher. He played in 158 major league games.
