“Sox Degrees,” the terrific podcast Len Kasper and fellow Chicago White Sox announcer Jason Benetti are launching Monday, isn’t meant to be newsy. The irony is Kasper shared what some might consider news in discussing it.
If you were listening closely, picking up cues and clues here and there, maybe you knew this. But it turns out he and analyst Darrin Jackson no longer are calling Sox road games remotely for WMVP-AM 1000 and the White Sox Radio Network.
They’ve followed the team on the road since mid-May — to Minneapolis, New York and Cleveland. They’ll be in Detroit on Friday through Sunday.
