Jose Quintana tries to halt White Sox four-game home skid

The White Sox are in search of their first win of the homestand behind left-hander Jose Quintana when they take on the Yankees on Tuesday night at Guaranteed Rate Field.

The Sox have lost their last four games against the Athletics and Yankees, including a 6-5 loss Monday night, during which a ninth-inning rally fell short.

Quintana, long plagued by poor run support in his career, received 20 runs of support over his last two starts, as compared with 22 in his first 13 starts of the season. He earned victories in both of those starts, against the Blue Jays and Twins, and he’ll look to continue a solid month of June.
